Guest is Kirk Morris who is a "Gold Star" father from Gurnee who is trying to get a memorial built for his son and the other 5 vets lost that are from Gurnee.The new Mayor is standing in the way.

In September of 2009, new Gurnee Mayor Kovarik cancelled an Electrical permit for work to be done in the fall. She called contractors scheduled to work on Heroes Of Freedom Memorial in October and told them not to work on the memorial site. She told Kirk Morris that "The Village will go another direction" and she took Kirk Morris and the Committee that was formed to construct the Memorial "off the job".
On December 21, 2009, the Village Board voted 5 to 0 to approve the Agreement negotiated between the Foundation and the Village.
On January 4, 2010, Mayor Kovarik vetoed the Village Board's decision to Approve the Agreement.
